please im dying to know now, can u tell me some of ur kabuto brother hcs? i just thought ur tags were so stupid funny lmfao
HDGHSDKJG sorry ik you sent this days ago, i have no excuse. but i’m thinking about urushi again anyway for fic purposes so here’s some of my headcanons:
i like the idea that urushi goes from being a pretty clumsy/inconsiderate/petulant (but ultimately well-intentioned) brat to, like. The Head of the Orphanage in the time when kabuto is away.. that’s honestly probably why he appeals to me so much tbh. like when we see him as a kid he’s a bit of a loudmouth, always complaining, etc. but i like the idea that after kabuto and then their mother left, he had to step up to the plate and be there for all the younger kids and become more mature/responsible rly fast.. he’s a good boy. i love him
he’s rly unabashedly corny & sentimental which is why he’s so chill about the whole “my brother is a war criminal” thing. i wrote a very stupid post about how lilo & stitch is urushi’s favorite movie and i absolutely stand by it. he cries at so many family films. kabuto hates it
i feel like he probably had a rly sad childhood even before he was orphaned but i haven’t hammered out the details. like idk i get the sense that the orphanage was probably the first Real Home he had which is why he felt so attached to it and never left? idk. like no kid who was raised right slams a helmet on the head of somebody who was just severely concussed JHFSDHJDSFG
he’s like. rly boring but in a very sweet way. like he watches a lot of ninja nbc dramas and only drinks sapporo and he has a rigid bedtime and prefers Polite Courtships over romantic flings. which is why kabuto and orochimaru’s whole Thing horrifies him
he is such a bad ninja. like he’s rly bad at it and he took nearly as many times as kabuto to pass the chuunin exams but the difference is he was actually trying. he does missions that are basically glorified errands to bring in extra money and that’s it. caretaking is what he’s good at. he Cannot fight to save his life
he’s good. he’s just a very good boy. as opposed to kabuto, the worst man in the world. but that makes it funnier
