oh my god i googled just the word 'k'tan' cause i wanted to know what it was and a bunch of baby carriers popped up and i was like...why would...why would batman? is this a jewish thing? anyways, i googled the full thing and now know what a talit k'tan is.

alksdjflkds k’tan means small in hebrew!! so talit k’tan is like, the small under the clothes vest (with tzitzit attached) that some more observant jewish men wear lmao (as opposed to talit gadol, aka Big Talit, which is the talit that people think of when they hear that word! it’s the normal prayer shawl)
