something something i knew my parents wouldn’t react badly to me being queer its just that even after i admitted it to myself and to my friends i still didn’t have to face the reality of it. i didn’t have to tell someone whose reaction was going to be reassurance followed swiftly by ‘what does this mean for your relationships, for your life, for you going ahead. how is this going to change your life, your routines, your plans. this is Happening and we are Acknowledging it in the light of Real Life. even if we don't talk about all of this you know we're thinking it as we shift who you are in our brains
