so i know i already have a yuu who is leonas s/o but this little SHIT wont get out of my head, this little imps name is bismoth and he is a half beastmen, the tail isn’t real its just an illusion made from his magic. He has face blindness and sees people as chess pieces

he naturally detects mana and so calls everyone by chess piece name he assigns regardless of their status he simply does not give a shit
Unlike most students his age he has multiple mage stones on him at all times reasons unknown.
A good example being that Rook Hunt is a pawn cause he is unpredictable and can definetely reach higher than what he is currently, also it is funny to see him calling everyone except Rook himself a rook LOL.
The reason Leona puts any attention on him is the fact that the first thing out of Bismoths mouth was “Hello Queenie” as he looked up from studying Leonas chess board. Both can recognise power when they sense it, leona thought Bismoth was a woman so instead of beating him up he invited her to a game in which he lost.
The queen is the strongest piece in the game so when Leona found out why Bismoth calls him that he doesn’t correct him even if Ruggie laughs at him for it. Something that would probably help is that Bismoth only follows him within the boundaries of the botanical garden so he felt like it had contol over their interactions. Which is what caused them to grow close over the span of months. Now whether platonic or romantic the cheshire is now happily playing mind chess with Leona as the rest of Savanaclaw gawks at the big brains
