“They feel very nonbinary to me, maybe it's the more masculine outfit, maybe it's because it's a waistcoat, maybe it's because they're wearing pinstripe pants, but it definitely has to do with their magic. Their whole thing is that they're a magical huckster, or as they call it, a card wizard, and that feels very gender. Also sort of like they're trying to explain their gender and find synonyms for it so it's easier to explain.
