thinking about bismuth stumbling upon pink diamond on earth bc rose got distracted while helping a hurt animal or something and forgot to change her form. bismuth's angry at the sight of pink but also terrified bc rose told her so many horrible things about her: she is evil, spoiled, bigoted, selfish, uncaring, monstrous etc. and rose (as pd) tries to play it up to scare bismuth away but then bismuth sees the hurt animal and decides to save it from the horrible diamond (that's what rose would've wanted after all—to save the innocent earthling). but the animal gets scared bc it doesn't know bismuth and rose had been trying to get it to trust her for days at this point. so she starts calming it down with a gentle voice and bismuth is speechless bc in her mind pink diamond could've never been so gentle, much less to an organic being

Well. You know how it is! We got to talking about battle plans. Spent a lot of time in the forge together. We- we almost fused, once, but we turned into something that wasn't quite right. I thought Rose was bein' shy. Turns out later we were probably some sorta- sorta Diamond. And then we.... we...
