teriza u kno that moment in botl when heras like “sooner or later you will have to make a choice” and then it’s not really clear what it is bc she doesn’t make /a/ choice she makes several and then we find out that Luke asked her to run away with him but that was pre-botl....so what I’m asking is do u think the major choice that Annabeth made was taking the knife???? bc if she hadn’t that could have LITERALLY turned the tide of the battle like that’s their best warrior dead and then Percy wouldn’t have survived to give Luke the knife and idk if this is me being big brained or if everyone already knew this and im just dense lmao
but like then it boils down to was it even a CHOICE or did Annabeth not think about it (i think that somehow, it’s both)...the way she KNEW something was wrong and she could have ignored it bc she’s had uneasy feelings in the past but no!!! she just trusted her instinct and went for it and quite literally it was instrumental to the success of the war
adi.........my brain cannot handle this rn i- !!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS. She chose to trust her instincts!!!!! she chose because it came down to percy’s life or death and nothing was going to stop her from doing anything she could to keep him, the prophecy child and her best friend, alive. im emotional
