Seeing these gifs from a post by @littlealexhorne turned the gears of my brain.
At no point does Cap tell the Ghosts about the reason why he went to the party, he never mentions Havers.
We *SEE* it all, as viewers.
So, that all being said, WHY would Fanny tell Cap he’s brave? What for? If he never actively said anything about Havers in the voice over we heard, why is he brave?
Because what he did was essentially breaking and entering and then stealing someone else’s valour, and Fanny, being as upstanding and moral as she, is most likely wouldn’t consider that honourable or brave.
This led me this theory. Cap actually told them word for word what we saw onscreen, and we only got ‘the highlights’ of what he said in the VO.
What are your opinions on this? Am I missing something or am wildly off-base?
Question for the Ruin haters out there. Why do you hate him? Because I can see people disliking him but like you guys have a deep gutted hate for the guy.
And don’t give me the “he got rid of 5,000 dimensions!” Because the hated you have for the guy is way deeper than some moral thing. Is it because he killed Solar? Is it because he caused Nexus? (I know 90% of you Nexus fans hate Ruin, you make it very clear)
Is it because you just don’t like his personality? Give me your take and why it made you so upset. Pls and ty :3 (Be as brutally honest as you like)
And for my Ruin lover! Why do you like him so much?
QUESTION FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED SOME HELP WITH THIS:
Do you think Ruin did extremely bad things every time he showed up?
Why do you think his actions were wrong/ right based on an arc or interaction?
Do you think he is redeemable?
till lindemann smash or pass?
smash 🥵
pass 🤮
Hello! <3
I have a question; is using the term brain dead as an insult offensive?? Genuinely curious.
Yes, this is anti brain injury/damage, as well as anti intellectual disability, and many other disabilities involving memory, intellect, and cognitive skills
Even if those who actually experience brain death are (at least in my country) legally considered dead and cannot find it offensive, it's important to consider why we're using the words we use towards someone and what we're actually saying
When you call someone brain dead as an insult, you're actually using it to mean 'not using or showing intelligence' [link] or something similar
I don't really support intelligence-based insults as a whole...not everyone has the same cognitive or intellectual abilities and that's okay, it doesn't make you a lesser person. It also means we don't properly hold people who are spreading harmful misinformation (knowingly or not) accountable for the damage they're causing, we just call them 'brain dead' and ignore them, which encourages ignoring people with actual brain damage, too, and doesn't solve the problem of misinfo.
[post I did outlining some ways to challenge an opinion without insulting intelligence] (link)
Insulting someone for:
Not knowing / understanding / remembering something
Processing information or performing tasks more slowly
Struggling with speech, movement, etc
is just ableism, even if that person (to your knowledge) is not disabled.
We have no right to question the quality of their brain or cognitive and intellectual skills. By throwing around insults about brain capacity and intelligence, all you do is imply that people with brain damage or cognitive and intellectual difficulties are lesser than, and incapable.
On top of all of that, it makes the families of people who have suffered brain death really uncomfortable using the proper terminology to describe what happened, because it's seen as offensive and insulting.
There's simply no need for it, it only adds to the stigma surrounding these types of disabilities
Out of curiosity, what are y'all favorite shows? Mine are Avatar atla and tlok, rwby, soul eater. It does not have to be just animated shows.
i know you would love the trevor evarts insta story that just dropped
