Andreas Antonopoulos gave a keynote speech on the future of Bitcoin at the Torotno Bitcoin Expo.

 At one point he said: " We are not going to have hundred of all coins, we are not gonna have thousand of all coins. We are going to have hundreds of thousands and then millions of all coins" 

While later he added:" I can see a world in which we can smoothly move between currencies in a multi modeled way"
