These delightful Kite Cookies are a fun treat for any occasion. Each bite is bursting with flavor and fun thanks to the combination of mini chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. 1/4 cup colorful sprinkles.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a medium-sized bowl using a whisk. When the butter is soft, put it in a separate large bowl and mix it with the sugar until it is light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix them in well. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing only until everything is well combined. Toss in the little chocolate chips. Make little balls out of the cookie dough and place them on the baking sheet that has been prepared, leaving space between each one so that they can spread. Use the back of a spoon to gently press down on each cookie ball to make them a little flatter. Put colorful sprinkles on top of the cookies to make them look nice. After the oven is hot, bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way. With a glass of milk or your favorite drink, enjoy your tasty Kite Cookies!
