[ok, so I’ve been away a little while and want to set in my mind and let everyone know where my characters are up to so I’m going to be doing a little past, present and future plot ideas on all of them. I was going to post on the OOC blog but kinda wanted to keep them on my characters blogs so I could find them later. I’ll try to keep it brief.]
PAST:
Fun, flirty, silly Weasley. Total romantic, has a new ‘true love’ every other month and every time is head over heels. Basically still acts like a teenager. Works at Leaky Cauldron also practice divination and ‘dating’ Danny (thought like, he doesn’t see it that way)
Was attacked by a faceless man (Marius but she cannot remember as she was obliviated) and that scared her a lot.
Predicted World Cup attack but didn’t say anything. Alyssa her friend died, her family were in danger and flatmate/bestie Rose left a dead body (Alfie) on her sofa which she discovered and freaked out even more.
Predicted Hogwarts attack(s) and told Julian to evacuate but he went to shut down.
Sneaked into Hogwarts when on shut down but got caught almost immediately and thrown out while all the chaos was happening.
AND THAT’S WHAT YOU MISSED LAST TIME...
PRESENT:
Lost and confused and mostly very scared. She doesn’t know how to keep herself or her family safe and feels like there is something bad around every corner.
Is keeping Danny around even though she know he ‘cheated’ with Jackson because she needs constant reassurance and validation from others, and she’s scared to sleep alone in her flat right now.
Essentially a little girl caught up in violence that she doesn’t understand and can’t cope with.
FUTURE:
So Dom has a lot of growing up to do. She’d been through a lot but is probably going to go through a lot more shit because I like to torture my characters. I hope in the future she starts to mature, but stay her silly goofy self at the same time. Or become harrowed by war. Either way, shit’s going down.
She will always stick with what most of the Weasleys are doing and probably sticks to ‘lawful good’ side if she can.
Is an aspiring seer, hopes to become famous one day, or at least be able to make a living of divination (preferably as a match maker).
PLOT IDEAS: Message me if any appeal to you. My aim is to always have a plot with every player but I usually fail, but I’ll be trying to message everyone over the next couple of weeks as Summer starts but it’ll take me a while to reach everyone so please don’t me scared to message me - if you want a plot that’s not below I’m 100% game. probably. So Much Better - [ANY CHARACTER THAT WANTS TO DO BETTER/ISN’T GREAT AT DADA] Dominique is scared, and after not doing very well at school in defence she is feeling powerless. What she wants is to improve her skills so that she can defend herself and not feel quite so worried about finishing a shift and walking home at night. She’s going to be hiring someone to teach her DADA and to make it cheaper she’s hoping to split the cost - essentially she’ll be putting up flyers looking for anyone who wants to learn defence with her in an upstairs room of the Leaky Cauldron one evening a week.
Chip On My Shoulder - [ONE CHARACTER WHO IS VERY GOOD AT DADA - PREFERABLY SOMEONE WHO DOES IT PROFESSIONALLY IN SOME WAY.] This is the person who will be leading the group mentioned in the last plot. It needs to be someone Dom trusts but don’t stop let that stop you from contacting me because we’ll be able to work something out. Since it’s only one person (ok, maybe like max 2 if they really want to share for some reason or multiple classes are running) I’ll cross this off when it’s filled.
Blood In The Water - [CHARACTERS WHO CAN PUT UP WITH WHINING ON A REGULAR BASIS] Dom feels like she is surrounded by death and doesn’t feel safe. She feels like she can talk to this person about it. Maybe they’ve lost someone too or maybe they’re just a good shoulder to lean on but either way Dominique trusts this person and uses them to vent and cry and talk.
Omigod You Guys - [CHARACTERS WHO BELIEVE DOM’S ABILITIES ARE REAL] Dominique has now predicted two attacks correct and hopefully people are starting to realise that her gifts are real so this character/these characters are new clients who want to know what Dom has to say about their future. She might get some predictions right and some wrong and either they stick by her or leave if she accidentally tells them to go for the tall brunette, when they should have gone for the short blonde.
Positive - [CHARACTERS WHO PUBLICLY DON’T BELIEVE IN DIVINATION] This is someone that Dom hates and they have something of a rivalry. Dom is certain that she is true and her gift is real but this person is certain that that’s not the case. They argue. It’s messy and hopefully public so everyone can watch the drama unfold.
What You Want - [CHARACTERS WHO CAN ENHANCE DOM’S DIVINATION CAREER IN ANY WAY] Be they a public figure, or small business owner they somehow offer a leg up in her divination career by promoting her readings somehow. She gets publicity or something. idk this is a loose one. it’d just be nice for her to get support in launching her dream.
