some elvis headcanons because i’d literally take a fucking bullet for this man:

-he’s an amazing storyteller! whenever the party has to camp out, elvis always spins a tale or two to pass the time, to everyone’s delight. considering all the traveling hes done and, elvis being elvis, all the shenanigans he’s gotten into, he’s got plenty. he’s more than happy to tell them if someone asks, but if they bribe him with a drink or two and he’ll get into the really juicy ones. these usually revolve around all the trouble he got into in his student years. sneaking out to parties, causing general mayhem, ect.

-this man’s metabolism is crazy fast. he can go through food and alcohol like nobody’s business. he’ll get tipsy after a couple drinks, but it takes a lot more to get past that phase. that’s why seeing him black out is so rare (and kind of concerning).

-if someone in the party is ever upset, elvis picks up on it pretty quick. he may be oblivious sometimes, but having been around lady emma for so long, he knows the kind of stuff to look for. he’s actually super good at comforting people. he just has this deep, genuine kindness about him that puts others at ease, and he seems to always know what to say when it matters. not to mention he gives insanely good hugs.

-most nights he’ll stay up much later than the rest of the group, trying to decode lady emma’s book into the early hours of the morning. the others have found him asleep in it on more than one occasion.

-he’s actually very tidy! it’s a habit that got hammered into him by lady emma. he always keeps his uniforms folded, and has a designated little pile wherever the party stays.

-considering how he was raised with a silver spoon in his mouth, he tries his best to see stuff from others perspectives. he knows how lucky he was, and while he’ll use his place in wiswald to lightheartedly get stuff from people he knows, he’d never consider himself higher or more deserving than someone else because of it (case in point his awakening with the earth crystal). that’s a big reason why the party often forgets how important he is to wiswald’s history.

-he’s always losing or breaking his hair ties, and the rest of the group playfully pokes fun at him for that. he usually has to beg adelle or gloria to let him borrow one.

gloria headcanons bc she rules my heart:

-considering the intense manner courses she went though in becoming a princess, she often has to remind herself not to be too strict when dining out with the party. she’ll catch herself reminding them to put their napkins on their laps, and they think it’s adorable.

-she refuses to take off the wavesong necklace seth gave her. no matter what. it’s the first genuine gift she’s gotten. its nothing like the things she was given as a princess. receiving really made her feel like a person, and more importantly a friend, rather than just a title.

-she’s absolutely the mom of the group. no questions. get this girl some backpack leashes because lord she’s gonna need em.

-since adventuring with the group, she’s really come out of her shell! she used to be rigidly formal, but now she finds it much easier to talk to people causally. she’s still as gracious and polite as ever, but not nearly as stiff.

-she doesn’t drink, period. she doesn’t look down on people who do, considering everyone else in the party does, she just thinks a ruler should always have a clear head and doesn’t like the feeling of losing control. but whenever they all go out to a tavern, she’ll get a sparkling cider to be festive. what’s funny is that if she ever started she’d realize that she’s the heavyweight of the group by a surprising margin

adelle headcanons because she’s a goddess on earth:

-she/they type beat

-she always smells like fresh flowers. no perfume or anything, just her natural scent.

-this bitch can bust a serious move. singing and dancing is her bread and butter when it comes to self expression. the rest of the party found this out when the tavern they were visiting one night started a live music set and opened the dance floor, which she preceded to absolutely tear up.

-she’s really good at doing hair! gloria asks her to braid hers in the morning, and she’ll weave flowers into it sometimes!! she’s also always got extra hair bands on her, most of which she ends up giving to elvis since he keeps losing all of his.

-acrobatic as fuck and she shows it off whenever she’s in a fight. she has done a backflip off an enemy on to another enemy more than once. everybody hypes her up (especially elvis) when she does since its super dope.

-shes not very good with the cold, having to wear at least two more layers than everyone else. elvis teases her about it, especially since she was chosen by the fire crystal. she’d retort if she wasn’t so busy shivering.

roddy x lily headcannons because they’re so cute it’s not even funny:

-y’all know these two were high school sweethearts. they’ve been together for literally forever. no one in wiswald remembers them being separate except for the asterisk incident.

-when they talk about each other, they get this gleam in their eyes and it’s absolutely adorable. but that doesn’t mean they don’t tease eachother. they’re really playful and have some excellent banter.

-they go on regular dates of course, but their favorites kinds are when they stay late at the institute and break open the ancient tomes in the back. they’re both scholars at heart, and love trying to take a crack at that kind of stuff together.

-once a week, they’ll both go to monas grave. they always bring flowers and sweets for her and have a long chat. they’ll tell her about the going’s on in town, and the kind of stuff they’ve been up to. it’s really bittersweet.

-lily’s a little better with kids, but they all seem to gravitate towards roddy. he loves them dearly, don’t get me wrong, but they really are relentless. especially considering that they take care of all the orphans.

-they’ll try and surprise each other with flowers or little gifts. they’ve accidentally done it at the same time on multiple occasions.

-they’ll hit the tavern sometimes and have deep, philosophical discussions. after a few cold ones of course. they’re not elvis level drinkers, but they don’t mind knocking back a couple. they do live in wiswald after all.

-they don’t argue often, but when they do, roddy’s usually the first to come around. they’re both very rational when it comes to fights and they respect eachother a lot. they’ll let the other know if somethings up.

orpheus headcanons because theatre kids have to stick together:

-despite being a pompous jackass about his talent, he does genuinely have a great voice. personally i hc his voice sounding like muse when he sings (listen to specifically “i belong to you” to get the gist)

-his parents were actually nobles in the musan court, and that gave him a free pass to get some of the best art education in the country. he’s definitely one of those drama kids who thinks he’s superior because he went to a good school.

-tell me this man doesn’t do slam poetry on the side. look at him. c’mon.

-after the whole debacle with the asterisks, he mellowed out a fair bit. he still thinks he’s hot shit, but isn’t as annoying about it as he used to be, much to the relief of everyone around him.

-ever since anihal gave him a way back into savalon, he’s been extremely grateful to her. he stilll regrets how he treated her before, and aims to make it up to her. he’s grown to see her as a younger sister, and will do everything in his power to make sure she flourishes, even going so far as to give her public speaking lessons.

-okay y’know that thing kids do when they try to show you something they learned on guitar and but they keep messing up and go: “hold on...wait.....okay hold on...i had this a second ago i swear.....okay wait......hold on....shut up no i can do this.....” that thing? orpheus does that. all the time.

-he’s very well versed when it comes to music and theatre, but he can be a total snob about it. he’s the type that’ll trash the fuck out of your favorite musical because it’s “mainstream”.

seth headcanons because even tho i don’t like him as much im not gonna leave him out:

-he can play guitar really well! he usually sticks to sea songs, but has learned a few new songs from the places he’s traveled to.

-having worked as a sailor for so long, he’s more muscular than you’d expect. he can wield an axe with no issue.

-he’s a pretty decent cook. he specializes in fish dishes (duh) and knows a lot about what goes good with what. he’s usually assigned cooking duty when they all have to camp out.

-considering how he washed up in excillant having no clue what was going on, he’s gotten pretty good at navigating and adapting. once he been to a city, he knows the layout like the back of his hand. the others usually rely on him to get everyone around.

dag x selene headcanons because their dynamic is molten gold:

-ah yes. the exhausted jaded healer and the loud idiot fighter. a timeless classic. but while she may act cold, selene genuinely does care for dag much more than she lets on. he’s one of the only people who pushes her out of her comfort zone with his antics.

-they’d been crushing over eachother for a while, but it took both of them a while to figure it out. dag thought he felt the way he did towards selene because she was kind of his boss, and misconstrued it as respect. selene originally wrote off dag as a burden, but then realized how boring her life would be without him. dag was the first to bring it up, and selene, while hesitant at first, accepted the idea of dating, just to see how it panned out.

-sometimes selene catches dag staring at her and she asks him what exactly he’s doing. he just smiles and says something like “just lookin atcha” or “just wondering how i got so lucky” with that big dumb smile of his. its?? so cute??? omg??

-if they get hitched, here’s how it would go:

if selene proposed, she’d say that the ring she offers him could be his new lucky charm. at that, dag would probably start crying (and say yes of course). it’s such a meaningful thing to him. and if he loses this one she’ll never let him live it down.

if dag proposed, he’d say something along the lines of “y’know how ive been looking for another charm? i think i found it. it’s been starin me in the face this whole time.” he’d whip out the ring and ask her to marry him. he’d think he’s very slick (and kinda cheesy) but when he sees tears in selene’s eyes as she says yes, he knows he made the right move.

(i just really like the lucky charm line okay?? it’s cute as fuck shut up)

-dag makes sure to write down every important date (their anniversary, her birthday, ect) but he still forgets sometimes. he always feels terrible when he does and tries his best to make it up to her. selene assures him she isn’t mad, but really does appreciate the effort.

-dag picks up selene all the time, usually bridal style. sitting doing a report? yoink. stressing about something? going up. she insists that she hates it but her blush tells a different story.

-while selene isn’t one for physical contact, especially not pda, she does make an exception for dag sometimes, as he is very affectionate. he’s always got an arm around her shoulders, or his hand in hers, just little stuff like that.

-dag loves using pet names, especially “babe” or “sweetheart”. selene on the other hand thinks they’re silly, but calls him “darling” very rarely. it strikes immediate fear in him because it either means “holy shit i did something really good” or “i am going to be publicly executed”.

random adelle x martha headcannons because they’ve been living in my brain rent free:

-because of martha’s position in protecting the lord of dragons, they plan cute dates in the cavern! they’ll have picnics near the waterfall, or stargaze out of the holes in the ceiling, or theyll just take a walk around some of the cooler rock formations. they’re really creative with what they’ve got. and of COURSE this includes sleepover dates!!

-adelle brings her stuff from mag mell all the time, especially flowers. she makes sure to pick the brightest, most colorful ones, since martha’s scenery tends to be a lot of white and grey, save for the sanctuary. not to mention she’ll braid them into marthas hair since they both love how it looks!

-these two talk for hours. since martha usually only has gwylim to chat with, things tend to run dry pretty quickly. but the second these two meet up they are total chatterboxes! adelle talks about all the shenanigans she and elvis get into, and it always makes martha laugh!

-y’all know these two practice fighting against eachother! martha always wants to sharpen her skills, and adelle just likes to get some energy out. it’s all in good fun, but adelle does get a little competitive sometimes. they’re both tough and don’t like being the first to call it quits, but the second someone really gets hurt it’s all apologies and kisses to make it feel better.

-midnight flights!! being the (former) dragoon asterisk holder, martha’s used to being up high, but this is totally different. adelle will carry her bridal style and they’ll swoop over the frozen lakes and forests without a care in the world! just the look of complete wonder on martha’s face is enough to make adelle’s heart flutter.

-martha is absolutely enchanted by adelle’s true form. she’ll just gush over how she’s a goddess on earth and how pretty she is, especially her wings. she’ll point out little shapes in the fairy dust on them like stars in the sky. adelle usually just rolls her eyes but inside she adores it and is super flattered.

-everyone in rimedahl has cooled down a lot after what happened, and while some are still wary of adelle, they would never go out of their way to make her feel unwelcome. they know how much adelle risked in saving their nation, so when they see her and the lord of dragons guardian walking hand in hand together, they just smile and wave.

-ice skating dates!!!! and they’re both really good so they just zip around the lake together, usually racing against eachother.

-they’re both head over heels for eachother, but adelle is much more casual about it. she’ll playfully tease martha about how lovey dovey she gets, but she secretly really likes it.
