Gradually, slowly, more people join the beach, setting up towels, preparing for the day, taking in surroundings- you just watch the waves. The flat line of sea as far as the eye can reach quivers with the slight breeze. Remember the ageing couple stand on the metal support attached to the protruding rock just watching, just like you are. Remember this.
