_______ “I Only Swim Free!” _______
Haruka hated the fall and winter time. Cooling weather meant that he couldn’t swim as often, and currently Ryuuji was putting him through taper, to focus on his university studies. This meant no swimming, and as badly as Haru loved to swim, he put a lot of trust in his coach and his methods, and totally wasn’t believing that he was doing this out of genuine laziness. Not only that, but he’d have to start wearing bundles of clothes. For someone who preferred loose clothing, for the simple reason that it’s easier to strip down into his knee-length jammers, wearing layers didn’t suit his style at all.
Hence why he was sitting out on the terrace of his apartment with nothing but a light jacket covering his body, as the sun dipped below the horizon, thus quickly ruining the much earlier image of the sunset he was sketching out in color pencil. He was so engrossed in his work, he barely noticed when something light was being draped over him. His blue eyes meet Rin’s red ones accompanied by a soft smile.
As if he’d completely forgotten that the other was hear he spoke his name softly. His eyes dart back to the fading sunset as it faded to nighttime. He’ll have to work more on the piece later. He makes no real moves to move though, frowning softly.
“It is cold out here. I could use a bit more to warm up.”
