transtrender is a word used by people who want to say that whoever they're aiming the word at isn't *really* trans and is only doing it for attention/faking it to be cool. bc transphobia is the hot new accessory everyone needs in their life right? its a bullshit word made up by people who want to police the identities of trans people who don't fit their narrow (usually binary or transmedicalist) view of what counts as *really* trans.

ive been called a transtrender for many things, being nb instead of binary, choosing to not medically transition (even tho my stacking chronic illnesses won't allow me to do that), and most recently: disagreeing with gatekeepers.

It’s one of his oldest shirts! He found it almost 4 years ago, in the first comic strip I’ve drawn with him :’) And he wore this in the first asks as well! (ok it’s not the EXACT same design but eh, memory.)
