Bitville (Vincent's Story) - Townies & NPCs Pool

As requested, I've created an optional townie/NPC pool for Bitville (aka Vincent's Story). It can be downloaded here.

Now, you can finally play Bitville, with its original lore, as well as with its original townies and NPCs, exactly as they were in Sims Life Stories! Remember the townie from Sims Life Stories trailer? She's here!

How to Use:

Put the folder SLSV into your Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Open For Business\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate

Note: If you have The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, put it here instead: Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Best of Business\EP3\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate

Note: If you have The Sims 2 Legacy Edition, put it here instead: Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy\EP3\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate

To use, just add the townie&NPC pool as a subhood to Bitville (or any other neighborhood you wish) and you're good to go! You may delete the subhood afterwards. It's really only meant to deliver the townies/NPCs into your neighborhood… kinda like a stealth hood.

Known Issues:

One known issue is that all townies and NPCs will have their names randomized unfortunately. But you can use lingeringwillx's program to restore default names for sims in subneighborhoods. Alternatively, you can also use SimPE to rename everyone to their original names. For this, I've provided a list of townies and NPCs with their thumbnails and their default names (in the rar file).

Otherwise, they all come as close as possible to how they were in Sims Life Stories, i.e. they should all have the same aspirations, turn ons/offs, relationships, etc. I also gave them their original clothes and looks in every clothing category (yes, I really made sure they all match, also for the playable sims, already in this neighborhood, btw).

Oh, and they were created using @meowingcookie's Maxis Infant Face templates, so they should all have genetic infant faces. ^^

You may also want to check out the townie & NPC pool for Four Corners. The other townie & NPC pools for the other recreated Sims Stories neighborhoods are in the works as well, so stay tuned for more to come! As always, happy simming! <3

If anyone fancied playing the Sims Life Stories and Pet Stories hoods, Hood Building Group on MTS recreated them all, and recently updated some so you can choose to play from the two different endings onwards :)

Edit: Garden Heights has been updated with story options too, and Four Corners has an optional Townie Pool!

I did originally add all the hoods to a megahood and just started making the community lots over, but now I might start again with just the updated Four Corners, Bitville, Garden Heights, Arbor Falls (as there's presumably no update coming, as no story), then add Mesa Flats once it's updated :)

Genderswapped Stories Hoods

Hello everyone

I am pretty sure some of you like the idea of genderswapped game hoods because I for sure do. It's somewhat the same experience but also quite different and some ideas may change. Sadly when googling for these I couldn't find many. Either only pleasantview or a whole uberhood.

Some time ago I decided to download said uberhood but I wanted to make it even more complete. You can probably already tell where I'm going with it (probably because of the post title tho). I decided to make genderswapped versions of stories hoods. All except the islands tho because they're built different. I for some reason didn't share them publicly til today so here they are.

I won't post Bitville or Arbor Falls pics because they're unchanged but they're there and also swapped.

At first I made them as subhoods only but later I converted them to main hoods for easier use. I used MTS recreations by Hood Building Group as bases. I edited them a little to be more accurate with the stories games (I play them a lot so I just had to xd).

Biggest change is the fact that some bin families are back in bin and some additional sims are deceased. Four corners is somewhat combination of actual Four Corners and of Freeplay version, because it had Stardusts and Margisons moved in so I used that fact to match their houses.

There are some more minor changes but they're not really important. Most important one is that all of these hoods are genderswapped, have full neighborhood story, all descriptions and stuff. I also added polish translation cuz why not (except neighborhood story cuz I'm unsure how to change the text in there just for one language).

This was made with UC, so it's probably required.

Last post for Bitville’s first week.

I haven't mentioned coffee-addict Alexa Starr yet. That one managed to make an enemy already, and now her ambitions vary from hating him to finding a lover -or more.

Alexa managed to steal a kiss from Vincent Moore, but after finding out that Naomi had moved in with him, she is considering other options.
