Today on “DND Characters I Will Never Get To Play”, I’d like to introduce Nenealahn, or Nene for short. Nene is a former bard and current warlock, bonded to Dreadmaw, Consumer of Chaos (The aboleth)  

Nene and Dreadmaw found each other after Nene lost the use of her wings in a barfight and barely escaped to Dreadmaw’s bay. 

Dreadmaw themself was cut off from the Abolethic hivemind by magic which they refuse to speak of to any creature except the horrible goose herself. 

With a patchwork version of cure wounds made from torn pieces of memories from their ancestors, Dreadmaw restored Nene’s ability to fly....by fusing the remains of her wings to her arms. to return the favor, the Aarakocra was asked to  travel the world and gather knowledge to restore Dreadmaw’s library of knowledge. It is a strange, uncomfortable relationship, but they are trying to “make it work”.
