A coelacanth is an ancient, deep-sea, lobe-finned fish, considered a "living fossil" because it was thought to be extinct for 65 million years until a live specimen was discovered in 1938 off the coast of South Africa.
A couple of weeks ago I did a piece that is a bit different from the work I normally do. I wanted to get a collection of some of the weirdest fishes out there and put them into a poster. Here’s the result of my research and I hope you enjoy the funny characters.
