Esherimm can have a borgar
Canadian soldiers on an LVT amphibious vehicle in the flooded Dutch village of Leuth, a few kilometers east of Nijmegen. The standing soldier has a captured StG 44 - 10th Feb 1945.

Another Colani design, the Sea Ranger was based on a Mercedes-Benz Unimog chassis and built in 1979 by the German industrial conglomerate Thyssen. It offered all-terrain and amphibious capability powered by a 5.7-litre inline six-cylinder Unimog diesel engine, wrapped in Colani's retro-futuristic "biodynamic" styling. On top of everything else, it featured an open-air rear "egg chair" designed for fishing or sightseeing.

Maybe Scientist Whumper wants to revert them to the amphibious state humans have just before birth.
Or perhaps it's an incubation chamber. Preparing Whumpee to be turned into a different species.
