what's your purchase history with dress lilly been like? 'cause they have a really well priced knock-off of a unif shirt i've been eyeing but i'm worried the price is too good to be true??
i’ve only bought from dresslily once and it was all accessories (you can read my review here) but i did like what came in the mail! when i bought from them, nothing that i liked clothing wise would fit me bc i’m plus sized. but if you’re watching you’re measurements and the top itself matches those measurements or looks like it’s made from stretchy materials then you should be fine. with everything being well-priced and free shipping i don’t feel like it’s too much of a risk.
i’ve really only had one iffy wholesale experience so far, and the item still fit me just not really how i wanted. like, you are going to be sacrificing price for quality in at least some way, like a $50 unif top would probably be better quality (though not always, i know killstar’s stuff isn’t that well made so the rip offs are almost identical) but i know like, i wouldn’t ever be able to afford the original myself. most wholesale stuff is the same quality you’d be getting at forever21, which isn’t bad.
but! definitely only get one or two things for your first order so you can assess the quality yourself without feeling like you’re breaking the bank if you’re not happy with things when they come. i’m happy to answer other specific questions if you have any, and i also address general wholesale advice in this post as well as my faq (which is located below my ask box) if you wanna check out those first.
