We have spent months (and years) getting to know many of you #eventprofs thanks to the power of social media, and of course, our friends at BizBash Live. Greeting you all at registration for BizBash Live: The Expo was just like the event registration team--EPIC--and we are honored to have been a part of such an inspirational event, and even more grateful to have been able to make so many new friends in the industry.

Featured Venue: Convene
We weren't able to take that many photos at #plannercrawl this time around, but thanks to the almighty #hashtag, we're bringing you another great venue--especially for our #meetingprofs community. With locations in both Manhattan and DC, Convene is the space to book when hosting between 4-400 participants; each location's specifications are fully-detailed (including virtual tours) on their site.
What's interesting to note about Convene is their human-centered design methodology--every guest's experience is enhanced thanks to the actual design of the space, their production department, the all-inclusive technology packages the offer and the exquisite culinary menu selections. You can't forget about the views, especially from the Times Square location (snapped by #plannercrawl attendee @khoff5):
Convene Times Square holds 11 private meeting rooms that can combine to accommodate up to 300 participants, but don't let that stop you from checking out their other spaces. Contact the team here for viewings and to request a proposal.
Featured #Eventprofs: Elite Styles: Events + Design
Fellow EPA members with a whole lot of pizzazz, we love the team at Elite Styles. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, their knack for custom-tailoring each part of an event and the colorful energy that creates only plays a small part in the bond they make with each and every client and vendor. They specialize in corporate and social events--and throw some killer launch parties!

Their latest event for HITC (Host In The City: fun, chic and ever-so stylish collaborative events held with different vendors and venues throughout NYC) was a Luxury Beauty Bar which we were invited to attend. The lighting, stylish decor and the extra sparkle--oh, the crystal-goodness!--are just some of the additional touches you'll find at an event by Elite Styles.
The event last night featured beats by DJ Cruel One, some sassy cocktails by #SXLiquors, styling by Sterl on Style, massages by Body in Balance Chiropractic, and manis and makeovers by the Motives beauty team and Nail Lounge. One of our Boomset ladies left looking so glamified, she was stopped on her way home quite a few times by inquisitive minds!
There were other musical performances and vendors that will make their comeback here on the blog, but be sure to make it to the next HITC event, and if you haven't seen their Instagram...there's no turning back now! We especially love this Instagram Influencers page on their website.

Featured Event Sweet: Cake Pops by Haute So Sweet
#Eventprofs on the sweeter of the spectrum, the team of Haute So Sweet were at the HITC Luxury Beauty Bar event this week also, helping us channel our inner-dessert creativity with a DIY cake pop station. Michelle Apiar, owner and artist of the company, is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute and has been satiating the sweet tooth from Wall Street to the Hamptons and everywhere in between.
OK, so we're not skilled in the DIY department, but the taste-testing we aced!
