All of this information and headcanon formation comes from a lot for different sources. Primarily late-night Ao3 readings and one image set that I can't get out of my head but have NO CLUE where it is or who made it.
I'm putting it under a cut, this shit will get lengthy.
So, in terms of HOW the Bizzaros are and came to be, this goes heavily on an AU that I don't remember who created it, but pretty much the Bizzaros are a counter-universe to the Ninja. (Credit due, it was a Tumblr user)
I'm taking in on that, but also adding a few things: -They have their own memories and past life. -They have their own family and relations to each other. -They're almost the exact opposite of the ninjas.
Now, here's it laid out in terms of each character: We'll go from A to Z:

Bizzaro Cole starts off as much as Cole is but more: Very cocky, very stubborn, and very destructive. As time goes on, away from the ninja, he becomes less of a follower and more of a leader. Turning stoic, easily annoyed, but very stratigic and smart. He keeps a monitor on his fellow Bizzaros' health (physical), goes headfirst into combat strategy, and knows how to push buttons to get on people's nerves. In other words: A humanized bastard cat. Him and Cole would not get along too well, given for how protective B!Cole is and how laid back Cole is, they're two bulls ready to butt heads at times.

Bizzaro Jay starts off very flirty and very destructive craving, with hints of emotional instability. With time passing, a lot comes out about Jay. Primarily, a large regard of health issues. Muscle spasms, absence seizures, POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)- This comes with a large regard of worry for Jay's health, despite how many times he'll dismiss it. He turns very closed off and calculated, barely giving any emotional regard. Jay and him would NOT get along. With Jay's excitable nature mixing with B!Jay's Not Impressed nature, they'd struggle.

B!Kai starts with a very leadership, very protective nature towards the others, cocky about their abilities. With time, however, Kai practically caves in on himself. Emotional, anxiety ridden, and a people pleaser. It doesn't matter who it is or what they want, he'll do it. But, with the twist of a dime, with the right buttons pushed, he turns into a pyromatic and destructive being with fire abilities. This is where Cole's button pushing comes in handy, being able to get Kai to that destructive point and beyond. This does lead to an overcharged burnout afterwards. Him and Kai.. Oddly work together. Given that B!Kai is very quiet and will listen to what other's say, Kai doesn't find him a bother. Still, Kai would get jumpscared by how quiet B!Kai is.

Bizzaro Zane is.. Well, he starts off crazy and reckless, and that only amps up the less his spent and compared to Zane. One of his catchphrases being "Logic? What's the point in logic?!". Yes, Cole has a child leash. Yes, Zane is more often the one to have it on. Yes, Zane is very irritated by this. To put it lightly: Zane goes headfirst into battle without knowing what the battle is. He is a nindroid, yes, but treats himself like he's a human being rather than a killer robot. Him and Zane, they.. Uh.. Well, it's not the worst friendship ever? I mean, if you ask B!Zane, you'd get a bit of chaotic high praise. If you Zane, you're met with the most annoyed and exhausted expression that could be displayed on any living thing.

Their powers are darkened/purple versions, aside from Cole, his still being rocks and whatnot, but more of gems and geodes rather than pure earth.
Asking about a Bizzaro Nya is met with a lot of stilled silence and a solid threat of 'Never mention her', along with Kai stowing away for a couple of hours.
They tend to listen more to Sensei Gamardon more than Sensei Wu.
When I tell you that these boys can and will be traumatized by living in good Ninjago AND from a made-up past, they are.
I have more Bizzaro boy thoughts... So many thoughts about when as a total: SO! Last night, I found a Picrew (credit to ninjawhoa) and decided to craft the boys and explain their powers. Here we are! Once again, A - Z
Cole:
The chronically tired boy. While still a Master of Earth like his ninja counterpart, his power involves more gems and geodes. Able to summon them from his hands, protective shielding, and while there is no true scheming to them, they tend to lie around the purple and dark blues tones. He can throw literal spears of gems, or whole clumps of geodes towards his victim with no regard to the safety of the victim.
Jay:
Jay has a deep purple lightning that if very powerful compared to Jay's, but also takes more energy from his body. Since purple lightning appears closer to the atmosphere of the earth, Jay has to charge for a few days compared to his inventing counterpart, who takes a few hours to a day.
Kai:
On everyday: Kai uses black fire. A fire that's barely visible and very fragile like him, but effective for small things. But, it can flip on a dime to create white fire. Small, black fire spots can escape from his body, but white fire is the strongest and hottest flame that he can create when utterly pissed or protective. Small flares can leave from Kai's body (primarily hands and arms) when in the white fire stage.
Zane:
Black ice. While not used in the actual terms, it's just as dangerous as seeing black ice. Since it's so dark, and tends to be thicker, any captured in it is set up for a painful time. It's also much denser than normal ice, making it a useful (and deadly) makeshift weapon, second to rocks itself.

Anyways, there are a few things I want to talk about with the Bizzaro Boys, underneath the cut, but here's the Picrews (Cole, Kai, Jay, and Zane respectively)
Important note: These are (generally) my headcanon designs for the ninja, aside from red eyes, minor tweaks here and there (piercings, accessories, etc), and clothing style. All of those are cattered to the Bizzaros style.
In terms of how these boys function with each other: barely. They were raised to hate each other but love each other at the same time.
Now, discussion of styles:
Cole likes to decorate his body with gems and shiny objects, but generally keeps on dark clothing. Rings, earrings, piercings- He loves them all. His favorite being the spikey collar since it generally describes him: Rough exterior, soft interior.
Kai likes to bundle up with mutliple layers of clothing. Since black fire is much cooler than the average fire, he get cold and stays cold. The necklace is worn constantly, being a gold color. If it has a ring on it: generally stands for an anniversary or celebration (like a birthday). The necklace and ring came from his Nya. The piercings are for flare and so Zane came have a little fun putting gemstone earrings he creates to use.
Jay is fairly minimal in terms of style for on major reason: muscle spasms. Ths jacket is a line of safety in case he falls to the floor, no dangling anything, and only wears glasses for the blue-light protection and because he's farsighted.
Zane is Zane. Loves white, loves black, loves silver- He loves blacks and grays and whites and makes combinations of them constantly. The heart 'earring' is actually a magnet that Jay helped create so he could have some sort of 'piercing'. Generally: He has white freckles that scatter his body, but other tines, it looks like a white blush. It just depends on temperature outside which one comes through more.
Okay, well, I guess this is as good of a time as ever.

This AU has been with me for years, and has since gone through MAJOR changes. Which is why THIS is going through the Original version of the AU
-Loosely based around the movie, as it had been created around this time (think 2017-2019)
-High school sort of AU
-Dragons were hunting for the 'ninja', aka, elemental power users
-Only those with the elemental powers could see THEIR dragons wings
-Dragons were hatched/raised together by someone, taught a human form, and left to fend for themselves after their passing.
-Knew basic skills and what their goal to find was.
-Cole was a baker. I don't know why this was such an important detail, but it was.
-Incompleted, lead to a dead end, original won't be worked on, but a wonderful memory nonetheless
Royalty AU

-Cole's working to become a teacher. Zane a doctor, while working alongside Misako at a museum. Jay's an inventor and you can pry that out of my cold, dead hands. Kai's partially dyslexic (barely having a proper education as a younger kid), but working to be a blacksmith instructor.
-Nya's there, don't worry. So it Lloyd!
-Yes, there are still dragons! Don't worry about where.
-This AU is being written down, so not TOO much will be spoiled. Chapter 1 is about.. Maybe halfway done with?

Ninja-less AU

Once again, a little self explanatory, but more in depth than you think.
-Wu never finds the Ninja, despite trying to. Lord Garmadon is still 'Lord', and is still destined to destroy Ninjago, with Lloyd trying to stop him.
-The four OG's work on themselves and their own skills;
-Kai becomes a skilled blacksmith after years
-Jay becomes a spontaneous/on-the-spot inventor/mechanic and creates many things, ranging from cars to jets
-Zane becomes this sort of grey area of a 'Jack of all trades', yet still dedicated to helping people out
-Cole becomes an infamous hit man. No, I'm serious, that's where my mind went to for Fole, and it stuck.
-Lloyd somehow ends up in Cole's care, crossing paths before the snakes could be released, so the whole Pythor thing doesn't happen...
-Or does it?
-Can't remember details, but Pythor gets released. The 'ninja' have connections with each others, yet are so disconnected, you'd never think they'd know each other!
-They do. Barely.
-Morro also gets released, but instead of possessing Lloyd, zeoh just.. Kind of vibes with Cole and Lloyd, but most often gets left in Zane's care.
-There was a lot to this and I loved it a lot. I need to write this down.
Mute Kai AU

A more what if: Kai was a mute
-Pilot would be changed MAJORLY. The dudes wouldn't know Kai's name until Nya said it!
-Actions become words to the Ninja, and so often, Kai will motion in a really basic way to confuse someone, and then Jay pops up like 'Oh, yeah, we can absolutely go get something to eat after this', or Cole saying 'No, I think you're confusing Mystake with the other tea lady.'
-Just that. Mute Kai. There's a scar on Kai's neck that glows gold at random points, but no one ever says anything about it.
-Nya actually knows sign language, and has taught the others bit by bit so they can actually hold a conversation with Kai. By the time season 3 rolls around, they all know sign language and finger spelling.
+Jay's both offended and accomplished by his sign name (first starting as just 'talks a lot', but changed to 'electric boom', or something like that)
Dragon Kai AU

Bizzaro Verse

There's already a good bit about this out in the tags 'bizzaro verse'.
As time gained it's name, amongst the First Spinjitzu Master himself, arose two sons.
Garmadon, the FSM's first born son, took up a fairly trivial and impish personality almost immediately. Much to his dismay, but as long as he continued to grow and become less of an evil being, Ninjago will be safe. Destiny would provide.
Wu, the FSM's second born, took up what he appreciated as a helpful and curious roll, eager to learn. Eager to.. Explore.. Regardless, destiny had its time to smooth things over. Not to worry about his son's, he watched over them at the monastery.
But.. The shout wasn't Garmadon's.. He was standing right in front of him, which means-
Time continued on, past the FSM, and past time. Wu was bitten by the devourer, and yet,as time grew on, Garmadon didn't change. The two son's of the First Spinjitzu Master grew dark..
Purple mist clouded the grounds days after the Time Twins met their fate of being lost. Many elemental masters wondered what was happening with them, as their intentions only grew darker..
It was a miracle that most made it out alive, swearing amongst themselves to protect their children, their villages, their people... And yet, as time continued on, less of them came back.
Alright! I am using these two Picrews again (first picture (ninjawhoa), second picture (PotatoLord)) for a reference towards Lloyd's outlooks
B!Lloyd and Lloyd are very similar to each other in terms of personality. Only, B!Lloyd tends to catter towards B!Cole in being more monotone and slightly irritable, but has more patience and sympathy towards strangers than the other four. He's the one you'd see in the face of danger to help get you to safety.
Elemental wise: it's dark energy. A black and purple like energy, but he still possess a golden power like his ninja counterpart. Very rarely does he actually use his power, due to the fact of the bizzaro world more than likely craving/hunting that power.
He does, however, still fight alongside the Bizzaro Ninja in battle, in the form of Samurai V! Yes, Lloyd is the samuri in the Bizzaro Verse.
In terms of styling, he takes after Kai with the layers of clothing, since dark energy makes him much colder as well. The piercings takes after Cole, who willingly pierced his ears. The glasses are partial to Jay, but Jay and Zane worked together to modify them for the samurai suit, so they're also partial a practically use.
He's still seen as the little kid of the group, but not of one that can't do things on his own. The ninja know the snacks stolen are going to his hoard, they also know that him shoving his face in Cole's jacket while getting a piggy back ride is still the same kid they found alone and sopping wet like a kitten. They love and will protect him, but also know that he's old enough and capable enough to make his own decisions.
