Unintentially matching my drawing of Bizarro Kai to @/aesc_alib 's Bizarro Jay. And while I'm trying refine it, I was like why not matching.

So, its a unintentional collab!! ( I was at first inspired by Rai to draw Bizarro of the main 4).

Don't get me wrong. I love Dragons Rising.

But there is something SO nostalgic and dumbfoundedly whimsical about the plot-relevant filler episodes.

Like wdym the ninja literally fought whitewashed versions of themeselves amidst bratty elementary schoolers to prove that apparntly the oversized yellow spoon could only create stuff.?

Wdym Lloyd had to compete against bootleg beastboy on rollerblades in order for Cole to find Zane in the dungeon??

WDYM There was a Pixane episode in which Zane cosplayed a mystery novel MC, started a bar fight, lost a bar fight, won the bar fight by proxy because of his kickass wife. Then got kidnapped and PIXAL had to turn into aforementioned mystery novel MC. All to find the game dev who was living on the damn roof???

they're all so silly and i miss the random-ass side quests that just appeared but were like- essential to the future plot.

This is not the original kai!! I draw amber/red/fiery eyes for the original kai. I draw the red ones for Bizzaro Kai and other bizzaro ninjas.

Bizzaro Kai and baby Lloyd!!

This is a role-playing game with my friend, where Bizzao Kai got four arms because of Bizzaro Zane's experiment because of the oni dna in his serum. Then Bizzaro Kai met the boy on the street and he felt sorry for him and took him in. He's like a dad or an older brother to him <:3

The first picture is a design from some flashbacks of the Lego Ninjago Dragon Rising series

In the second picture, this is Jay from the sixth season of Lego Ninjago. This is his avatar, just a cat!!!

And the third picture is Agent Walker. Simply put, Jay is from the administration who doesn't remember anything.... And he's got little glasses!!

They also have different emotions on their faces!!!

Don’t remember if I’ve posted about it before but fun HC @impulsivefanwriter and I have about the bizzaro ninja:

They’re not… human. Well, I guess that’s obvious enough, so let me elaborate. Yeah, they, for the most part, look human (if you ignore the sickly pale skin or the red eyes) and have all the normal bodily functions a human does. But, a key difference is that the bizzaros are, in part, still the gis they were made from. Their skin is still skin it’s just… almost fabric-y in places, yarn-like hair, cuts occasionally spill out cotton stuffing and need to be sewn back up in order to heal. It’s all stuff you wouldn’t notice if you didn’t know it was there, but once you see it… it’s impossible to unsee.

Makes for good angst in AUs where they’re brought back and have enough time to actually have an identity crisis or ten about not knowing what the hell they are. Not quite human, but not quite inhuman either. They’re the only ones like them, and even they’re just figuring it out as they go.

Okay, Bizzaro boys rambling time:

All of this information and headcanon formation comes from a lot for different sources. Primarily late-night Ao3 readings and one image set that I can't get out of my head but have NO CLUE where it is or who made it.

I'm putting it under a cut, this shit will get lengthy.

So, in terms of HOW the Bizzaros are and came to be, this goes heavily on an AU that I don't remember who created it, but pretty much the Bizzaros are a counter-universe to the Ninja. (Credit due, it was a Tumblr user)

I'm taking in on that, but also adding a few things: -They have their own memories and past life. -They have their own family and relations to each other. -They're almost the exact opposite of the ninjas.

Now, here's it laid out in terms of each character: We'll go from A to Z:

Bizzaro Cole starts off as much as Cole is but more: Very cocky, very stubborn, and very destructive. As time goes on, away from the ninja, he becomes less of a follower and more of a leader. Turning stoic, easily annoyed, but very stratigic and smart. He keeps a monitor on his fellow Bizzaros' health (physical), goes headfirst into combat strategy, and knows how to push buttons to get on people's nerves. In other words: A humanized bastard cat. Him and Cole would not get along too well, given for how protective B!Cole is and how laid back Cole is, they're two bulls ready to butt heads at times.

Bizzaro Jay starts off very flirty and very destructive craving, with hints of emotional instability. With time passing, a lot comes out about Jay. Primarily, a large regard of health issues. Muscle spasms, absence seizures, POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)- This comes with a large regard of worry for Jay's health, despite how many times he'll dismiss it. He turns very closed off and calculated, barely giving any emotional regard. Jay and him would NOT get along. With Jay's excitable nature mixing with B!Jay's Not Impressed nature, they'd struggle.

B!Kai starts with a very leadership, very protective nature towards the others, cocky about their abilities. With time, however, Kai practically caves in on himself. Emotional, anxiety ridden, and a people pleaser. It doesn't matter who it is or what they want, he'll do it. But, with the twist of a dime, with the right buttons pushed, he turns into a pyromatic and destructive being with fire abilities. This is where Cole's button pushing comes in handy, being able to get Kai to that destructive point and beyond. This does lead to an overcharged burnout afterwards. Him and Kai.. Oddly work together. Given that B!Kai is very quiet and will listen to what other's say, Kai doesn't find him a bother. Still, Kai would get jumpscared by how quiet B!Kai is.

Bizzaro Zane is.. Well, he starts off crazy and reckless, and that only amps up the less his spent and compared to Zane. One of his catchphrases being "Logic? What's the point in logic?!". Yes, Cole has a child leash. Yes, Zane is more often the one to have it on. Yes, Zane is very irritated by this. To put it lightly: Zane goes headfirst into battle without knowing what the battle is. He is a nindroid, yes, but treats himself like he's a human being rather than a killer robot. Him and Zane, they.. Uh.. Well, it's not the worst friendship ever? I mean, if you ask B!Zane, you'd get a bit of chaotic high praise. If you Zane, you're met with the most annoyed and exhausted expression that could be displayed on any living thing.

Their powers are darkened/purple versions, aside from Cole, his still being rocks and whatnot, but more of gems and geodes rather than pure earth.

Asking about a Bizzaro Nya is met with a lot of stilled silence and a solid threat of 'Never mention her', along with Kai stowing away for a couple of hours.

They tend to listen more to Sensei Gamardon more than Sensei Wu.

When I tell you that these boys can and will be traumatized by living in good Ninjago AND from a made-up past, they are.

Blinded one second, hit and sent back the next, Kai was flung onto the ground as harsh yelling assaulted his ears. He flung his mask down, covering his ears as tears filled his eyes at the overstimulation. The only thing he could register was Cole's distant yells and shouts back at the abuser.

Blinking a few times and getting his bearings, all of them were back at the monastery, Zane cradling Jay in a tight hold as the smaller was seemingly sobbing with Kai. Right in front of him, Cole stood threateningly, in a screaming match with their sensei: Garmadon. Nya and Lloyd were cowarding behind one of the beams, both of their eyes wide as they bared witness to the screams.

"I should have never put my trust in you four!" Garmadon shouted, the next words causing everyone to pause aside from Garmadon himself: "You're all worthless!"

Dark, stormy clouds rolled over, filling the blue sky menacingly. "Get out."

"S-Sensei-" Cole tried, but was immediately met with a swing of the staff that he blocked with his arm, eyes wide with fear.

"I said 'GET OUT'!" Garmadon shouted, causing the three on the ground to scatter up, rain beginning to fall as the four escaped through the front gates, rushing as quickly as they could.

Lloyd and Nya, although hiding at first, quickly scaled up the nearest wall and dropped on the other side, joining the ninja in their escape from the monastery. Even when far enough to be deemed safe, they didn't stop running, until they were well into the forest and nearly in the city.

That was when Kai official broke down in sobs, covering his mouth and whimpering to try and stay quiet, despite his best efforts proven fruitless. Nya moved a hand along her older brother's back, only coaxing him forward as Cole led the way, with Lloyd right by his side.

"Where are we going..?" The smaller blonde asked, having to move twice as fast to keep up with Cole's larger strides.

"We're going to my dad's place.. I don't give a shit how much I hate him, he knows better than I do of what to do." The eldest of them said, his breathing being the only thing hinting to the internal panic he felt, as rain began to pour drench their clothing, soaking them all to the bone by the time they entered the outskirts of Ninjago City.

"He just.. Started screaming at us.. We weren't even there, and he was yelling!" Zane said, his grip tight on Jay's hand to make sure the shorter didn't get separated from them.

"Well, it's too late to go back.. The only thing we can hope is that Cole's dad is merciful.." Nya said, barely heard above the raging pellets of rain, gripping onto Kai's hand for the same reason Zane held Jay's, at some point, Cole and Lloyd joining hands for the same reason. Paired together was better than separate, they were the only thing left of each other.
