heres my beetlejuice opener : have you seen the musical on tour ? they had to change some things , especially with ready set not yet since obviously everywhere wouldnt have a collapsible stage

ive seen a boot! bc. hashtag cant afford to see it irl. it was very interesting, but i dont think i could watch it again if i tried LOL. i LOVE justin collette, dont get me wrong, just alex brightman is my boy, and its a little Too different from the original for my liking! the only reason ill have to watch it again is if someone records andrew kobers tourjuice thats coming up next month!!

though, i do like the touch of the maitlands getting electrocuted. that was hilarious to me

Like ... does anyone else experience this?

Like, you see something on your dash that incites a grand emotional response from you. It’s not bad, it’s just ... unwanted? And you don’t like it there and don’t want to see it again but don’t want to blacklist? Because blacklisting gives you so much anxiety like ‘oh no what if i miss something that i like by blacklisting’ and not everything on that tag is bad and sometimes the post doesn’t even affect you? but you don’t like it at all

do you think javert is a villain or just an antagonist?

I don’t think of him as the villain. He’s partly an antagonist, but this is only because he is opposed to Valjean, who we see as the novel’s hero. He certainly has bad traits, but he also has several redeemable traits. 

The Thénardiers are villains. They are motivated purely by self-interest. What makes avert simply an antagonist? He seems to believe that he is working for the Greater Good. He is not hunting down innocent people- he is hunting down a criminal, man who has stolen, evaded the police, and broken parole. Valjean is, in fact, a bad person. Javert appears to believe that by capturing Valjean, he is doing a thing that is good, because Valjean could potentially be dangerous. He believes he is doing the right thing. 

This is what mainly separates Javert from being a villain. Villains are motivated by their own self-interest. They have no care for the world around them. Javert, however, believes he is doing good for society. 

TL;DR: Javert is not a villain because he believes he is doing good for other people by capturing Valjean.
