And this ending to BJU's Class of 2024 Commencement would never happen at your BJU graduation.
And Bob Jones III was visibly furious.

Remember all the rules we had for commencement? No hair touching the shoulders. Caps had to be FLAT -- parallel with the floor. Shoes must be closed-toed and closed-heel. Hose could be tan or black. No bare leg. No color. No white (which was hideous). Dress underneath must be white and must not extend below the hem of the robe. Men had to wear ties and white shirts.
It was drilled into us. Faculty likely remember it more because it was repeated every year. Every. single. year.
But this year? I don't see any dress code rules. And the audience doesn't remember any of those rules either.
It's not your father's BJU.
And it makes BJ3 verklempt.
