More cube progress! Yesterday I successfully used a sewing machine for the first time to make tiny pillows to match her new blanket. I even learned a hidden stitch..... Kinda. Her bed is officially done! As well as a new bookshelf. It was a bit of a challenge, but I eventually got the wood glue to work. All that's left now is the window, flowers, and furniture. If you have any questions on making your own dolly cube, I'd be happy to give some advise or say how I did mine. This one is for a SD bjd and measure 28 × 28. It's a beast!

This is Grace's new bed... For now. Eventually I'll add nicer blankets and more pillows. I made it out of the box she came in from little monica. I think it turned really cute! I wish I had a picture of it without the blankets because I spent a lot of time with the lace everywhere. But over all I'm really happy with it. Using her box assures it will be the right size. I'll keep everyone posted on progress. Have a nice day!

My sis found me an adorable doll bed so I painted it and plan to remove the bars on one side to install drawers. My doll gets a daybed before I do.. Sad days!

*Again...I posted this on my BJD sub-blog first, but I thought I would post it on my main as well.

It’s done! I went ahead and made the bed set for my incoming Minifee Rin. I suck at sewing and since my sewing machine is so ancient nobody even knows how to work it I had to hand sew all of this. It was hard but so worth it.Especially hand sewing quilts…so tedious. It's far from perfect but I'm happy with it.  Everything on the bed (except the cupcake and the Hello Kitty) I made.  It took me about two days to make.   Sorry for the amount of photos… ^^;

It's always nice to have pieces of furniture that can accommodate more than one doll at a time, especially when you have two or more. What do you guys think we should work on first? A sofa, or the king sized bed?  xoxoxo Sophie
