Today I did my first full monster high face up! I went for a more elegant look to combined with her doe body. I borrowed the dress from one of my next face up models. Please let me knew what you think! I need to work on the eyes and getting eyelashes to stick :/

But, I’m moving out of my dorm next week for my summer break! And I’m doing it with a total of 8 bjds! For those who don’t know, my club did a face up event where we ordered 10 akagi heads and gave them out. my new head is named Bennie (bald face up) and the blank one is my boyfriend’s he didn’t want to keep. Hopefully with classes not starting till September, I’ll have time to make tons of photos and save up for Nikolai’s body :) fingers crossed!

As promised, here is my full BJD crew! (besides Zahara who’s with my friend Tobi and maaay be getting a face up). This is also showing off Grace’s finished room AND technically my first official Photo story. Feel free to tell me what you think of it and the dolls I have.I should be getting a head next month from that event I told you all about before. My next post should be pictures of me and Grace at this years Sakura con! I would take Lance since she’s already gone, but he is a BEAST! 72cm and like a million pounds! New Phone, Who Dis? Oh my gosh everyone, I have been gone way longer than I planned. But don't worry, I have huge plans in store. As you can see I got a new phone and have been working on mood boards for my ideal doll crew. Now, you can probably easily tell the first 3 are Grace, Momo, and Zahara. BUT, right below that are the 3 mood boards for my NEWEST BJDS! I will be revealing them tomorrow in Graces completed bedroom! The lighting may not be wonderful, but the camera is sooo much better. Until then I will you all tomorrow! Oh and the last photos show all the mood board for everyone I couldn't post due to photo limit
WHERE CAN I FIND BJD HEADS THAT ARE $20-$25?!?!
So I am part of Portland State Anime Club. And I spoke to the president about doing a face up event. We've done crafty things like that before, so he just told me if I can figure out what we'd need and to set up a web order. Awesome, right? Well, so far I figured I can get most things off alice collections. Problem is, I only found 3 tester heads within $20-$25. At that rate I can get 9 or 10 heads for the event, art supplies, and their 10 pairs baggie. But before I go through with it, I wanted to ask Tumblr if they knew where I could order heads for the same price in bulk. Here are the conditions: -Really want to push for $20 to $25 to get as many as possible for the event. - I'm hoping for Msd or Sd sizes -since we're teaching face ups, the resin has to be able to keep pastel and sealant - NO. RECASTS. IM DEAD SERIOUS. - If possible I would like to order them in bulk Thank you in advance! -Ema
Aaaaaaalll most done! Grace, Zahara, and Momo are home so I can finally show them off in the room. As you can see, I added a plant in the shelf pot, a new SD size chair, and the window is almost done! I just have to get the photo and get it up on the wall. If anyone has questions on making a cube of their own I can give advise on how I did mine. One day I'll get a nice camera for nice pictures. One day...
The family is back together! Also, here is Grace’s new eyes I promised, as well as her wig! I had to style the wig a bit to get the hair out of her face. Zahara being a kid, I can never get her hair to look right (also I just now realized her eye messed up, but I’m too lazy to retake the pictures) They’ll be coming home with me Monday to see their new room
Small progress made! Using some scrap book frasies I had around, I added tiny accents to my lovely cube. I'm so happy with it! I was able to paint and decorate the jewelry box. The biggest thing I did was I started making the window. I took 3 small canvases, cut my shape out, painted them true white, and hot glued ceran wrap to give the impression of glass. I still need my city view photo, then I can glue the window up. Curtains also need to be sewn, then I can finish the curtain rod. Grace, Zahara, and Momo are coming home this weekend! I had them away for their own protection. But I'm going back to school soon so it's time for them to come back. Once she's in the room, everything will beautifully come together!
More cube progress! Yesterday I successfully used a sewing machine for the first time to make tiny pillows to match her new blanket. I even learned a hidden stitch..... Kinda. Her bed is officially done! As well as a new bookshelf. It was a bit of a challenge, but I eventually got the wood glue to work. All that's left now is the window, flowers, and furniture. If you have any questions on making your own dolly cube, I'd be happy to give some advise or say how I did mine. This one is for a SD bjd and measure 28 × 28. It's a beast!
More progress, this time in a small way. I added picture frames to my bjd bedroom. I got the photos from those postcards companies give with their dolls, as well as a Ringdoll catalog. The frames are just cardboard painted black. All that's left for the walls is the window, the curtains, and a few book shelves. Also, Grace's eyes came in! They're in the bunny backpack at the moment. Anyways, I'll show off more when I can!
This is Grace's new bed... For now. Eventually I'll add nicer blankets and more pillows. I made it out of the box she came in from little monica. I think it turned really cute! I wish I had a picture of it without the blankets because I spent a lot of time with the lace everywhere. But over all I'm really happy with it. Using her box assures it will be the right size. I'll keep everyone posted on progress. Have a nice day!
Sorry I haven't posted anything for a bit. Summer is a pretty busy time for me. In a dorm I have more privacy too. BUT, I have a lot planned! As you can see my bjd bedroom base is finished! All that's left is detail work and furniture. Grace's wig came in and looks lovely. But I'm going to wait until either her new eyes come in, or at the doll wedding she's attending to show her off. Had a fun time meeting Atreaus, the newest boy added to the @akiomoichi doll family! Momo got to see his brothers, and Grace and Zahara got to spend time with their extended family. Grace's newest wig is in the mail and I'm in the process to save up for my next doll. :3 I'll take pictures of her new wig when it comes in!
Now that I'm back home I can spend time with my other doll collecting friends! While I have my little bjd family, these guys have MANY resin children. And in this ocation, it was one of their birthdays. So Grace, Momo, and Zahara got to meet even more of their extended family. Sorry for the bad quality pictures, there was bad lighting and I didn't get a chance to run it through photoshop
UPDATE: two new dolls have been added to my wish list, causing the relationship sheet to slightly change. I added two big boys Finn and Lance who are both mythical creatures. This will most likely be the last addition to my wish list simply because of finances. The next one I’m getting is Harper who will be Grace’s little brother. I will keep everyone update as the family grows
