For my birthday,I got this darling.. Antu Dreamlike Tea Party from Penny's Box ,a baby bjd centaur

So...blind boxes. A plague on earth. Especially if they have to be bought online with proxies. I don't like bind boxes,and I often end up just sculpting the ones I like myself,or looking for an opened box to buy. However, sculpting only works for fixed figures,I can't sculpt a bjd(yet),and I kinda like all of them,so it wouldn't be too bad regardless of which I got,and I decided to take the gamble

I wanted Field or Memory the most. I don't like the Super Hidden Wish (I like it ,but.... it's a bit too sugary? Doesn't really fit the Centaur theme, it'd be fine for a human girl in my opinion) or the General Hidden Secret much, but I don't have the luck for a super rare chaser,so I was sure I wouldn't get them(and even if I did,my mom loves them so I'd just give it to her). Now,the ones I liked least (but still loved quite a lot) were Sweet Dream and Fantasy. So I assumed I'd get these and spent a lot of time convincing myself that they're absolutely perfect too. But then I remembered that these are the product displays,aka poster girls. So ...I probably won't get them either. Meaning I'll either get Neon or Thought.

Rip,even though I bought an actual blind box, I didn't get to open the sealed box,customs opened and resealed it...as they always do :")

When I opened the box to see the red hooves and tail and wings,I was exhilarated, because red is my favourite colour! Which is great but......

THEY LOOK SO SIMILAR NOOOOO

My mom looked at the photos of the rest on the box , especially Thought and said "white dress!" and I remembered....

I have a little obitsu white dress that doesn't fit any doll or figure I have: too wide for nendoroids/kelly/chelsea, too short for bigger dolls which it does fit,and it turns out it's almost the same measurements(a little shorter than) as Neon's dress so.....

I made the cherry bag because the one that had come with the dress was way too tiny. I named her Cheri, as in Mon Cheri

Honestly? I couldn't be happier. For someone who loves red as much as I do,I was a bit disappointed at first, because of how similar she and Bun were looking. But with the white dress and cherry bag? I love her even more than Memory and Field,this is THE best outcome. I love her so much!

Got my penny's box deer centaur girls from kika goods today and they are so so cute ( ；∀ ；)

I wanted 2 but they have a thing where you need to order 3 or 6 to guarantee that they will all be different. Fortunately, my sister wanted one too! I told her she can have her first choice, now I am glad I decided to let her choose because I can't pick a favourite (,,・д・)

With the arrival of half a dozen new centaurs it was time to make a group picture :3

The blindbox babies are super cute and probably the first arrival in a long, long time that I really don't have to mod in any way for better poseability. They're lightweight, hold all poses good, and are probably easy to mod and dye in the future.

This was a huge undertaking of a commission. It probably would have been easier with an airbrush, but that would mean I need to learn to airbrush first, HAH!

But I promised dolls! Here is my most recent inclusion. My beautiful LUTS centaur! Please excuse photo quality. I figured some lower quality photos were better than none!  At the time (about January), I was still living with in-laws. They have an older (but fairly nicer) home and were kind enough to let my husband and I get a bit more stable financially. Thus the orange counter tops! A lot of good things had happened just this December that are just life changing! Along side with just positives was the inclusion of a doll I have always dreamed about and became available around that time!  I have always wanted a LUTS centaur since I first saw one. I never assumed I would be able to get one. I passed up the fairyland release of their centaur dolls, and when LUTS released another batch of these beautiful dolls it was like the stars aligned. She is by far the favorite in my collection! She is still without a faceup and will be until we are unpacked and settled. We are currently in our own apartment! I cant believe it is already May!
