Day 9: A toy that was gifted to you.

The most magnificent doll gift I have ever been given... Dream Valley Dawn/Aurora

She was gifted to me by my Brother and Sister in Law after I ranted to them about the unfairness of doll release schedules XD

See at the time she released Luts had also finally done a re-release of thier kid delf bory centaurs and that was a sculpt that I had been drooling over for ages!! I couldn't afford to get bolth and told them about it in a joking manner (" woe is me and my first world problems!!" Type of joking") so that Christmas when They handed me a print out of the Denver Doll order confirmation I was floored!

I hadn't expected them to remember that! Or even take any of it seriously! I literally cried. Because holy hell. What a gift!

I'm in love with it still to this day (now I just need to get over my intimidation and get her painting/face up/all the rest done)

i'm so excited to see these new ones! (boys! and SHEEPTAURS!!)

(and yes, there have of course been several proper resin bjd centaurs over the years (the original antu centaur, for instance), but these ones are all so affordable and compact! i love blind box bjds, the fact you get an entire doll with a complete outfit for really not too much money still feels amazing)

First snow fell last night, so I got Kestrel out for some hunting photos. Testing out that cold weather gear, I guess.

We had snow for the first time in forever, of course I had to get out and make pictures with Celeste <3 These are the last pictures with these antlers - I lost one on the way back. Urgh. Anyone has some Dina antlers for sale... ?

Hello and welcome back to another episode of "Wow, I'm still alive, look, I've made some pictures of a centaur!"

This is centaur no 4 - her name is Dawn, and she's my autumn mage.

I recently noticed that all my centaurs kinda fit for a season, soooo - here's autumn! Ever-changing and always on the edge of 'something else'.

i was doing a test print of this deer centaur sculpt, but got my files mixed up and ended up printing parts of two different versions -> the leg pieces didn't fit together and the doll had trouble staying standing.

i would have thrown the incorrect pieces away and reprinted, but the non-functional legs gave me the idea to do something fun with it -> i glued the joints into position, drilled a hole through the doll, and went ham with a carousel horse aesthetic.
