What scale/ size for my new BJD????I’M Working on my new ball jointed doll design. This is one I’ve been meandering on for years. A jellyfish mermaid. So yeah what size? MSD is the biggest I would probably want to go but that may be a bit big still. For doing tiny for so long it’s tough to go big, but I do like MSD sizes so hmmmmm. It’s also tempting to get it resin cast but not sure I want to go that crazy with this project but I dunno... maybe. There’s a couple companies that are now doing 3d printing as well as resin casting so hmmmmm.... Would you doll dans be interested in this special mermaid jelly Bjd? New bevelling and sanding bits.
Making new molds of my second batch of bjd hooves attempts, as the talcum powder separator on the last batch worked as poorly as the Castin Craft Mold Release spray I tried previously. This hobby is going to take a *lot* of practice. Serious respect to the successful bjd artists.

My order for a big bag of Lego 1x1 bricks arrived today so this is a little flashback to when I started experimenting with creating a couple of foot & calf models to create molds from, and cast into resin. This was back when I was first beginning to learn about the process of designing your own BJDs.
Let’s never pretend making BJD eyes is easy.
I’ve created a fair range of diameters with a variety of pupil sizes, and these are going to take a looooooooonng time to sand, round off, and prepare.
