I am buying a recast body for my legit doll head, because buying a legit body seems kind of like overkill since I'll need to experiment with getting the head on without destroying either the head or the body. But I was talking friendly to someone on Instagram from the community and now we're following eachother. Then it said in her bio not to follow her if you support recasts. Idk about the rest of my following, but I guess posting my girl on insta would be a risk...
It’s only “a risk” if you want to befriend whit a specific person thatclaims hates your doll. There are a lot of recast friendly users and accountson Insta, it’s not like you can’t do it (having pictures of your girl on Insta),but that you want to be friends with an antirecast (“proartist”) while having arecast at the same time.
In my opinion, you should get better friends Anon (the type of friend thatdoesn’t judge you for the doll, or toy, or stuff you own, and accept you as youare because it’s not their place to decide what you do with your money). But Ithink you can also do what you suggest, or let other people decide “what you dowith your own money” and buy a cheap legit body you dislike just to fit intothe elitist world.
Sorry to say this out loud, but someone has to. If that person doesn’taccept your doll (or your choices), then it’s not your friend at all. Friendscare, support and love eachother despite the differences on opinions, becausethe other person it’s worth overlooking the things she does, even if you arenot agree whit.
