I dont want to bring up politics on my account, but this is serious so I'm just gonna say fuck the BJP. I hate PM Modi. Just get rid of the education minister. Like be an actually good government and do shit for once. And actually respectfully PLEASE do something about Sonam Wangchuk, as I'm really worried for him. He's literally starving, on a hunger strike for over 20 days for the education of India, for the youth of India

The NEET paper being leaked IS a big deal. That exam is probably the only way a student ot there can fulfil their dreams, a way out of poverty, but what does the youth affected by that leak get? Nothing absolutely fucking NOTHING. Even in the cjp protest, literal pregnant women, children and innocent people were detained. Students were beaten by the police over it.

I hope they're fucking proud and tell their kids as soon as they come home, "mom/dad did a great thing today, I beat children and I was proud of it" yeah sure go ahead. And no one give me crap abt how "Oh, the higher ups/government is the one that makes them do it it isn't their fault"

Oh yeah? Nazi Germany police and SS personnel indeed heavily relied on the "just following orders" (or Befehlsnotstand) defense during postwar tribunals to minimize their guilt. As an excuse to get past all of the obviously terrible shit they did btw. Human rights were broken again and again during the cjp protest. Just because the police was "following orders" doesn't make it any less terrible.

Ugh my country is in deep shit to be fr right now. This isn't anything special. Yall can ignore this its just a rant sorry if this seems really butchered and shortened and I know it. I'm probably missing alot of key points jn this so feel free to comment to correct me wherever possible, in reposts or comments

For everyone saying, "Yes, we agree the paper leak was a terrible thing to happen, but we won't participate in the protest because we don't want to associate ourselves with the 'other' elements involved."

I genuinely have no words.

How can political prejudice outweigh basic humanity? Can you not put your political differences aside for one moment? Can you not set them aside, just this once, for a cause far greater than any political affiliation?

It does not matter which party is associated with the protest or which leader organized it. What matters is what the protest is about.

It is about the paper leak. It is about the lives lost because of a politically corrupt education system and those entrusted to run it. It is about demanding accountability. It is about ensuring that this country remains a functioning democracy where every child, especially those who cannot afford to pay lakhs in fees, has a fair chance to succeed through merit.

If you believe in that cause, you speak up. It really is that simple.

I recently heard an influencer say, "Humare andar ki nafrat humari insaaniyat se badi ho gayi hai." Sadly, I think that perfectly captures the state of our country today.
