It's bizzare to see how Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike is turning out. The level of apathy and incompetency the BJP government has currently is truly dystopian. I feel disgusted as a citizen.
You seems to be cjp supporter
Let's get one thing straight, i'm not here for CJP. I'm here for the people fighting FOR us.
Whatever their personal reasons are, i genuinely don't care right now. Maybe they've got their own gains in mind, maybe they don't, who knows. But tell me ONE party, ONE person in this entire political circus who's out here with zero self interest. You can't. So why is that suddenly the standard we hold against the people actually showing up for students?
At least they're doing something. At least they're standing on ground, taking the heat, putting their name on the line, while everyone else sits comfortable and criticizes from the sidelines. That counts for something. That counts for a LOT actually.
I'm not signing up for a political party. I'm signing up for anyone willing to fight for a system that isn't actively crushing us. That's it. That's the whole point.
This protest in Jantar Mantar is not "anti-national".
It is a fundamental right.
A peaceful protest when the elected government fails to perform its duty is a fundamental right. Guaranteed by the constitution of India according to article 19.
It's a protest for the future of India and its youth.
Following a government blindly is the death of democracy and the birth of an authoritarian government.
Democracy helps the people voice their concerns while the authoritarian government silences them.
Our freedom fighters have fought for our independence and rights. Now it's our turn to exercise them and protect our future against corruption.
It doesn't matter if you support the CJP as an organisation or not. I don't support them either. This protest isn't CJP vs BJP, it's the youth of India and their fight against a government that has oppressed them for so long.
If you can't protest at least write a letter or an email. I will link the source where you can find the official address and email address to reach them.
I urge you to do this as your voice matters. Every voice matters.
This is a fight for your future.
See, the basis of the protest is the Neet paper leak, and resignation of Pradhan, and the faulty education system that exists right now.
Why are people, who don't give 2 cents regarding the Neet situation, speaking baseless info? So, why are they(CJP) dragging religion into this? Considering India is a democracy(yeah, irony) but that does mean your religion matters, so does mine. And valid too, are the opinions of a person who's an atheist. But that's not the point of the protest is it?
Have they completely lost the plot?
Apart from everything, whether you support the protest or not,
SONAM WANGCHUK IS NOT A SCIENTIST BHAIIII !!!!!!!
In India they jinija kill you for wanting accountability
I AM DONE. I AM ABSOLUTELY STUNNED.
I genuinely did not think it could get any lower than this, and the government just PROVED ME WRONG. LATHI CHARGE ON STUDENTS. TEAR GAS. They don't even care who they're hitting anymore, students, elderly people, EVERYONE. THEY HIT A TWELVE YEAR OLD CHILD. A CHILD. And they're probably sitting somewhere proud of themselves right now.
AND NOW THEY'RE AIMING GUNS AT US? AT STUDENTS? AT PEOPLE ON A PEACEFUL PROTEST, ASKING FOR NOTHING MORE THAN THEIR BASIC RIGHTS?
I have no words left for this. THIS IS NOT GOVERNANCE. THIS IS VIOLENCE, plain and simple, against your own people, because they dared to ask for something better. HOW DOES ANYONE SLEEP AT NIGHT AFTER GIVING AN ORDER LIKE THAT?
Shame is not even a strong enough word anymore.
