Many faces of my 98 Legacy GT over the years.
Time to make the rear strut brace match the front! I give up on trying to get the OEM carbon bar at a decent price, lol.
Used a 41mm ID carbon fiber tube and slipped it over the GG Impreza JDM STI bar just like I did the Tommy Kaira front bar. Then topped it off with a fresh OEM "STI" decal (PN ST99820ST190).
Easy, quick upgrade for -$100. Makes the bar thicker, adds stiffness, looks radical and matches all the other carbon bits. Only adds minimal weight, ~ 1 oz. probably less.
Miss my old "rally" style look before going full JDM front to back.
But there's no turning back now, lol.

Universal 49" Harness bar installed in the 98 Legacy GT! Easy install and also acts as a B-pillar brace. 4 point harnesses are on the way. Leaving the factory seat belts for now because I'm not sure about legality/insurance issues since it's a "daily". (Probably no more rear passengers in this wagon, lol.)
The rear seat bottom will also stay for now but the back is out and will be replaced with a lighter DIY partition.
JDM Subaru BRZ rear arch fin kit for the 98 LGT, that's right for the 1998 Legacy wagon.
Didn't use the oem hardware because I didn't want to permanently rivet these to the bumper. Easy 10 min install with some self tapping screws and 3M double sided tape for good measure.
Wanted something like this to make the JDM vent/aero spat combo come together while providing better airflow and using factory parts.
