You’re aware of the irony of lamenting your disdain for being treated like a child while sitting on a swing. 

It isn’t that you don’t acknowledge how you act, you know how it looks. Your fumblings with maturity and penchant for doing petty, childlike things like sneaking out when you were upset was more than enough to convince everyone and even yourself that maybe you weren’t mature. You don’t know how to adult. You don’t know how.
