my goodness it’s so weird to be playing the violin in orchestra again

I played the viola in orchestra throughout high school and my first semester of college (which was the only semester of college that I participated in orchestra)
The last time I played the violin in orchestra was the 8th grade, which is like 8 years ago. That literally feels like lifetimes ago because everything was just so different then?
Anyways, I’m shook and I’m about to form a string quartet and play the viola for that, so I’m officially back on my bullshit as a dual violinist/violist.
People keep asking me which one I’m better at or which one I like more, and I’m always like “it depends??? on what I’m playing????”
Anyways that’s my orchestra ramble for tonight, gotta finish up tomorrow’s Whumptober prompt and then I can sleep xD
