Mistress Mondays are a talented four-piece that have been creating waves in Melbourne’s independent music scene this year with the release of their debut single 'Sound Of Me Sleeping' and launching it to a sell out show in April.

Armed with their exciting blend of alternative rock, Mistress Mondays are playing Blac Mail on Thursday May 19th with support from Queensland's Oceanics and Melbourne's Apollo Pathway.

In the back room from 11pm Blac Mail DJ's Sam Gudge, Jesse Young, Tom Evans and Aaron Trotman. Band room $8 on the door from 8.30pm. Back room free until 11pm then whole venue $10

7/4 - THE VILLA'S w The Rafaella's & Asami

After years of jamming and playing together, the Villas are now emerging into the Melbourne music scene as a fresh and dynamic rock n’ roll/funk mix up of strats, pianos, harmonies and raw energy. This early 70’s, yet modern sounding group are quickly gaining popularity, and with their distinctive sound carrying something for everyone they hold a promising future ahead. The Hendrix inspired guitar riffs and solos from guitarist Hughie Hanily mix with the refreshing sound of Matt Parker’s keyboards, while Ben Gunther provides smooth Red Hot Chili-like bass lines backed up by fat funk rock beats from drummer Ed Cox. The Villas’ funk/rock blend is one to look out for in Melbourne, and they are sure to be featuring heavily in the music scene in the near future.
