Fun Fact: Atom Smasher's Uncle Al wasn't called Atom Smasher. Al Pratt was originally the Atom long before Ray Palmer started using the name. He didn't have any powers to start with either. He was just a short, angry man in a costume before gaining powers after years of crime fighting.

I think being short and angry can be a superpower in itself. I mean take Wolverine-- sure he can heal and he's got the claws, but isn't his main power just being short and angry?

I do wonder what kind of complex you have to have about your height to name yourself the ATOM when you don't have any superpowers related to that.

It seems like the Atom is a really interesting legacy of characters linked by almost nothing.

Okay this is something I don’t get about DC…

They introduce a bunch of characters in random team up movies and then just expect you to know most everything about them (or just not care about their backstories???) and expect you to care about these people you were introduced to five minutes ago when they die

And then DC goes and has this BIG BAD GUY who is actually a good guy but a bad guy for the government so they need to send in another good (but maybe bad too) guy to kill him??? Because why?? Who knows! He’s just a guy who is “too” powerful and might kill people who oppress and kill other people so i guess we have to kill him?!

Okay so I'm really really excited about Black Atom but at the same time I'm a little bit confused now is he a hero or a bad guy? I mean he's absolutely amazing and I really really like him

Just found out that Dwayne Johnson is playing Black Adam in the new Shazam movie and first thing that came to my mind was how weird it's going to be to root for the villain of a superhero movie
