Patrick Laumond - MetaHism
Extract Of A Global Space - (Systema)
The MetaHism is an artistic movement that expresses and embodies the human mind as a meta-paradigm. This Art of the thought, connects a global vision of the visible and invisible events simultaneously. META, because expressing the Whole, ISM as the concept and universal suffix, which we find in all the movements and H, eight letter of the alphabet, (letter of the infinity, ∞, lemniscate) separating and unifying.

That being said......
the reason that I love school is because it has encouraged me to find as many ways around these stereotypical artistic/art-school pitfalls as possible. The rigidity of the concept/form relationship can be broken up or called into question by introducing kinetic, or perhaps more effectively indeterminant elements. How can every piece of a work be accounted for if they are not yet in fixed position, or if they will never be? It has become about playing games for me, as it seems to have become for so many post-modern people. How can we play with greater structures, like the insitutions themselves, the art world, the school, the underground, the studio? or with the experience of the human condition itself? Artwork has become about calling into question everything that I can. In this way it is still illustrative, of the human way of thinking, probably.
If Metahism is about modeling totalities like the universe through ambivalence, then I want to model the response. If the expanse is infinite, then so are the questions it raises. Just more material to work.
