Hello my friends of the sea! ✨

🦭 I'm glad to show you a new art piece about selkies and seals folklore - finally! I feel so happy to continue this art journey with my favourite mythical legend. It's a beautiful sensation to let out the lights and sparks from a black paper. Every artist should try it. I highly recommend it to you.

🎨 Tools: it is a sort of a "mixed media illustration". I made it with watercolor pencils and white gouache on black paper and then I added some sparks with Photoshop. Just a little touch of digital medias. 🩵 Remember to keep your seal skin safe, always.   🌊 May the sea waves bless your path — wherever it leads! ✨

In times of uncertainty, I chose to paint salvation.

The Holy Trinity, beginning with Almighty God.

This painting was born from the combination of six different images. I used photographs of galaxies, yes, my God is greater than them. For the left hand, I used the image of a sphere of water, symbolizing control over life. I also gathered references of clouds, as described in the Bible, to compose the scene.

Throughout the entire process, I was guided by Bible verses that served as spiritual inspiration for every detail of the artwork.

The technique used was white acrylic paint on black paper, reinforcing the contrast between light and darkness, presence and eternity.

I hope this painting touches you in the same way it touched me while I was creating it.

A sad, fluffy boy

Tried doing a mixed media thing where I used my white pen as an outline for his fluffy areas (aka just the head and hands) and then I filled it in with white charcoal. Definitely could've turned out better, especially with his hands, but I think the white charcoal actually gave him a nice fluffy texture. The robe is also pretty whatever, I need to find ways to improve on that.
