Haven’t updated my thoughts on Thrawn: Alliances.

First, IN LOVE with Anakin vs. Vader in the sense of how they’re written. Anakin is brash and cocky, but overall, not a bad guy. A little dumb compared to Thrawn but that’s everybody. Vader on the other hand is a seething cauldron of Everything Is Offensive and I’m Going to Strangle You about it.

Also if Vader hurts Thrawn, it’s over. FRY HIM UP, PALPS. Not my Blueberry how dare you.

Padmé doesn’t get paid enough to do this job. Meaning her actual job, her marriage to Anakin, her spy work. None of it. Let her go home.

Faro, too. Doesn’t get paid enough for this crap. Love how her time serving under Thrawn has brought her to trust him and I get the mental image of a little Chihuahua hiding under Doberman because Vader scares her to death. Frankly, if they kissed I wouldn’t be mad. (Yes I’ve been reading some ship fics, yes I know it’s very OOC for Thrawn, leave me alone to my delusions)

I miss Eli :(

Adore that this book takes place basically in the Disney Park. Like it’s possible that I could go there.
