We've been tellling you, saying aphobia doesn't exist is ridiculous cause a queerphobe doesn't care what type of queer someone is just that they're queer.
Someone kicking out their kid for being gay isn't gonna change their mind cause actually they're asexual not homosexual.
Other queer people don't even know how to define asexual you think a homophobic person's gonna know the difference?
I've known I was ace since 2016 and while I wasn't on tumblr then a lot of the stuff I've heard was said here I saw over on Facebook.
Aphobia has been happening for years and we've been saying this but it's only when someone receives backlash for coming out (eg Jaiden animations) or a notable figure is acephobic you belive us and then you're shocked.
We get told we're broken, our representation gets erased, we aren't accepted by the gays or the straights, we get told "I'll sort you out" and "You're too young to know" but everyone's fucking covering their ears till a big name gets involved.
