this is supposed to be a Black Wing but it barely looks like one even when accounting for the differences between in-game and pre-rendered cutscene models

Wings didn't have a tail like that, they had two spike-like things on each side of the rump

they were also roughly the same size as Shadow and were mostly black with red on the arc of the wings and the split tails

this is more like a Hawk (the mature version of the Wing) just drawn small but the colors don't even match that and the tail was stiff rather than prehensile

so either just an art error or maybe a runt that Eclipse was allowed to experiment on

that's my headcanon now
