This one-of-a-kind pizza has black beans, tender lechon, and Swiss cheese that make you think of Cuba. When you mix savory ingredients with a hint of cumin and paprika, you get a delicious mix that's great for pizza night.
Ingredients: 1 pizza dough store-bought or homemade. 1/2 cup black beans, cooked and drained. 1 cup lechon roast pork, shredded. 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded. 1/4 cup tomato sauce. 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced. 1/4 cup green bell pepper, thinly sliced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp cumin powder. 1 tsp paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. Olive oil for brushing. Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Set your oven to 475F 245C before you start cooking. On a baking sheet or pizza stone, roll out the pizza dough into the shape you want. Add a thin layer of tomato sauce to the pizza dough, making sure to leave some space around the edges for the crust. Spread the shredded lechon, black beans, Swiss cheese, red onion, and green bell pepper out evenly on top of the tomato sauce. Add the cumin powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to a small bowl and mix them together. Pour this mixture over the pizza's toppings. If you want the crust to be golden brown when you bake it, brush it with olive oil. Put the pizza in an oven that has already been heated up. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and lightly browned. Take the pizza out of the oven and give it some time to cool down. Before serving, sprinkle with fresh cilantro leaves. Enjoy your tasty Cuban Black Bean, Lechon, and Swiss Pizza after you cut it up and serve it!
