• His initial reaction is literally "What the fuck?"
• Unfortunately, depression wasn't as well-researched in the 1950s as we'd like, so he won't be able to fully understand your condition and might even at first think you're being dramatic
• When he truly realizes you're not exaggerating, he'll feel a little awkward and secretly will be mentally glad he didn’t say about drama part out loud
• He doesn't know how to fully help you and is very confused about it (and it infuriates him that he feels powerless)
• He'll offer his company. Whether you agree or refuse is up to you
• If you agree, he'll sit silently and awkwardly with you in the bathroom, and may and can also offer to speak out about what you're thinking and/or worried about (he's trying sometimes bro can't figure out his own feelings)
• If you refuse, he'll silently and awkwardly leave the bathroom and go to the kitchen to cook something you like in an attempt to cheer you up
• In either case, he'll take care of you and either help you out of the shower and dry you with a towel, preventing you from making unnecessary movements, or bring you clean pajamas and a towel (depending on the first or second option)
• In either case, he'll carry you to bed and wrap you in his arms. He won't mind just lying there or going straight to bed, or listen to you
• After that, he'll observe you and your state more often
• "What the fuck" x2, but he'll come to his senses faster
• Luckily, it's the 21st century and depression is well-studied, and he's well aware of the phenomenon although he sometimes thinks people online are overreacting
• In fact, he's noticed your condition before and suspected you had mental health issues, so this situation, while a bit unexpected, isn't surprising to him
• He knows and reluctantly admits that he's not the best person to help with such issues, but he'll try for your sake
• However, he also doesn't understand how to fully help you right now
• He'll offer his company. Again, it's up to you
• If you agree, he'll sit silently somewhere in the bathroom and may simply remain silent, or he'll listen to you or tell you something if you need a distraction
• If you refuse, he'll definitely order something for you and bring you fresh pajamas and a towel
• If this happens in V-tower, he'll then head to his office to keep an eye on you (and make sure you don't drown yourself (he isn't sure if you have suicidal thoughts, but he does not want to check in practice))
• After a shower, he'll dry you with a towel and carry you straight to bed, or he'll just come over, keep an eye on you, and take you to the living room for a snack
• Then, cuddles and co-sleeping are a must (there's a high chance that at night, if you need to go to the bathroom, he'll follow you (not directly to the room, but still). Now he's "slightly" worried about you
• After this, he'll be much more gentle and will closely monitor your condition
• He'll 100% insist on therapy if you're not already there
