as happy as I am for the aai2 localization I can't stop thinking about Simon's new name and how now simon² isn't gonna work anymore 😭😭 I'll still shipp it tbh I like it more bc of all the parallels like both of them using their looks to manipulate people into thinking the opposite of them (Blackquill appearing intimidating to convince people he's guilty, Simon looking naive and cute to convince people he's innocent), both using psychological manipulation in opposite ways, both having an animal sidekick, both the dyed long hair, etc. but it's still a huge loss for how funny the name was 😭😭😭
