That’s wild af. But then I remembered an argument in college with some white friends. They kept droning on and on about how the Beatles were the best musical group in history, and I simply could not stand it anymore, and I started naming off other (black) groups, and I didn’t make it beyond the Isley Brothers before they all started going, “who’s that?” And I was like, “probably one of the groups who the Beatles studied and copied??”
So frustrannoying.
Anyway, “Blackfamous” is definitely a thing.
