THIS IS AMERICA: Childish Gambino is making some grown man moves in this masterpiece of a video. The fact that his pose while shooting the shrouded Black man is reminiscent of the horrific blackface caricatures of the past. The dancers distract from the madness going on behind them. Africans seem to matter to America, especially it comes to missionary work and music, but African-Americans can get kill even singing in the choir at church. The image of just looking like he's holding a gun or smoking a joint is all they want to see of this Black man in This America. And MEANWHILE, the real Black man is trying to escape because the world we were JUST witnessing was all occurring in The Sunken Place. WOW. This video completely disturbed my peace.
