There's still time to sign up for a session of Part 1 of The Black Mecca Project series, a multiracial conversation exploring the root causes that prevent Atlanta from being a fully realized Black mecca. Black folks, white folks, and non-Black folks of color have reckoning to do of our own and together, about how we have been and remain complicit in anti-Blackness and white supremacy as the organizing principles of our economic system and power structures. Reckoning calls us to pierce through delusions in service of freedom. Reckoning requires that we have honest conversations about race and power in our city so that the ways we show up and the organizations and structures we build embody liberation. Reckoning is the opposite of denial.
