Now I'm just imagining Frisk getting into "my big sibling is cooler than yours" arguments in school.

I think Frisk is too nice to argue with other kids about who’s got the best things/friends/family, but they’d totally overhear other kids doing it and very subtly smile to themself like “ain’t got nothing on mine”

even before Chara and Asriel come back, Frisk can’t help but feel a small rush of pride whenever they hear other children talking about their cool family members, because even though they know Chara and Flowey did some very, very bad things that definitely should not be considered cool, Frisk is only human and also very small, and when you’re that small, the idea of having the power to twist time and space and even shatter the already broken laws of physics like Chara did to reshape an entire world after they themself destroyed it ... all of that sounds a little too metal to not admire.

Though of course, when their big siblings do come back, all their little friends can see for themselves how cool they are.

All of their issues and hangups and troubles aside, the princes of monsterkind are indeed very, very cool.
